We have carefully assembled a small but qualified team of directors adding value to the vision and future of our ministry. We will continue to develop directors and staffers from within our movement.

John Hickox

John is a senior partner in the Advisory practice at KPMG LLP and is based out of Atlanta, Georgia. His belief in promoting Christian principles in the business world as well as business principles to Christian leaders connected John to Today Ministries and its mission. John's passion is to apply what he calls "The Fairness Doctrine" to the decisioning process in Corporate America and assist organizations in their evolution to "peak performance."

Rob Mabary, Secretary

Rob is an entrepreneur having founded and managed numerous successful small businesses in the areas of consulting and medical education for physicians. He is also the CFO for an organization (hisg.org) conducting humanitarian aid to the neediest people on earth in 70 countries. Rob started his career in accounting working for Deloitte, and then worked at U S WEST where he held a number of positions, most recently as Director of Financial Planning.

Jim Piper, Jr., Chairman

Jim has a passion to see God change lives. He sees himself as a coach to the marketplace and a personal pastor to leaders.

Most recently Jim started a church that witnessed over 700 people placing trust in Christ as their Savior over a ten-year period. Jim also led one of southern California’s largest youth ministries growing it from a few high school students to outreaches of over 1000 in attendance.

Prior to his life of bible teaching, writing, and church planting, Jim was a Vice-President for Bank of America. He developed and managed a significant asset portfolio working with business owners on a daily basis. He was also a leading team member in the bank’s branch expansion strategy.

Jim holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Redlands, CA and a Master of Divinity from Bethel Seminary.

Mark Boggess, Treasurer

Former President of Camping World. Following four years in public accounting with Arthur Andersen, Mark has spent 30 years in entrepreneurial financial rolls raising capital to support the acquisition of bottling companies, media properties and data base marketing companies. Currently, he is employed by Direct Buy.

Being raised in a Christian home I have tried to put Christ at the center of my life in all I do, but recognize the things of this world often make this a challenge. As the bible indicates, set your sight on the treasures of heaven for eternity vs. those of this earthly world for such a relatively short time.
